You are in the right place here if you:
Every mentoring process is unique which is why our approach is bespoke and different. It is also why there is still no universally agreed definition of mentoring.
Mentoring is a shared learning process to help others to help themselves to release and realise
more of their potential.
We will train your mentors, mentees and their leaders together in mixed groups and put releasing
and realising more of their potential as the key focus of their mentorship experience.
This shared learning ensures that everyone will learn more that they could do from a traditional
approach.
This in turn will increase returns on investment and significantly boost the mentee’s self-belief,
adaptability and motivation.
The best way we know of releasing and realising potential is to create opportunities for the mentee to discover what he or she can DO rather than just talking about it.
We define potential as unrealised possibilities and ‘impossibles’.
For example, self-managing their mentoring process, planning and organising it, making the
decisions, controlling an allotted budget and being held accountable for learning purposes by senior leaders.
This equips your mentors and mentees with skills of applying their newly found potential,
creativity, decision making, adaptability and accountability feedback.
As a result their learning and experience curves are accelerated and shortened ensuring greater
value for, and returns on, your mentoring investment.
If you had suggested that 70 employees of our client Lubrizol would save the company from
closure, you would have been told, ‘IMPOSSIBLE!’, which is a common reaction of others.
But that’s what they did and we were awarded a U.K. National Training Award for the process
which the judges described as, ‘revolutionary and inspiring’.
And in our client Pfizer Ireland’s Tablet Plant, Bettina, Head of Operations, had 121 direct reports
as a result of the flat organisation, hierarchy-free structure we initiated.
They said, ‘it’s IMPOSSIBLE! and will never work. How does she manage and control them?’.
It worked brilliantly, of course, and Bettina’s response to, ‘how does she manage and control them?’ was, ‘I don’t, they do’.
The returns on investment from ‘transformed impossibles’ may not always be measured easily but they will be significant and they will keep repeating year after year.

Some things are deliberately missing from our site, for example:
* a one-size-fits-all ‘formula’ or methodology
* how to manage mentoring from the top down
* a mountain of mentoring ‘theory’
* know it all ‘experts’ who know nothing about your business
* quick-fix answers (without defining the ‘problem')
I just want to say ‘Thank You’ Dennis for your help, positivity, support and mentoring during the very successful turnaround of our Lubrizol business. Our situation was dire and after a 40% downsizing so was morale.
As a newly appointed General Manager the opportunity to work with you was much appreciated. Along with Samantha we formed a great team with high trust, respect and innovation. Your input helped us all to realise more of our potential.
The decision to in effect close the business for a week so that we could all focus on what we needed to do was ‘revolutionary and inspiring’, very creative and exceeded everyone’s expectations in what we achieved, including avoiding a company closure and winning the U.K. National Training Award.
It was a pleasure to work with you. With your help we achieved great performance, with great team relationships, and with much fun and satisfying achievements including the social session with the employees and their families.
Thank you,
Tony Strong, CEO,
